Your challenge

Our crane operators work closely with the site supervisor as part of a driven and experienced team. As a Hydraulic Crane Operator, you are responsible for operating hydraulic cranes safely and efficiently on a wide range of demolition and dismantling projects. You are not only a skilled operator, but also someone who thinks along with the team, contributes to the successful execution of the work and always puts safety first.

What will you do?

With a steady hand, technical insight and a strong focus on safety, you operate the hydraulic crane on a wide range of demolition and dismantling projects. You are responsible for carrying out your work safely and correctly and for taking good care of the equipment assigned to you.

  • Carry out demolition work safely and correctly.
  • Keep the assigned equipment clean, tidy and in good condition.
  • Report any faults or defects in the assigned equipment immediately.

In addition to these responsibilities, your duties will include:

  • Carrying out demolition work on various projects.
  • Ensuring that the equipment assigned to you is locked and secured at the end of the working day.
  • Checking that the assigned equipment is operating safely and properly.
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties as required.

This role involves working in physically demanding and project-specific conditions. Any potential physical demands and other occupational risks associated with the position are identified and documented in:

  • the Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E);
  • the project-specific Task Risk Analysis (TRA).

Who are we looking for?

You are an experienced crane operator who knows your machine inside and out, takes responsibility and always puts safety first. You work accurately, think ahead and keep a close eye on both your equipment and your surroundings.

  • A recognised crane operator qualification or equivalent training.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience as a crane operator.
  • A Basic Safety VCA (B-VCA) certificate.
  • Knowledge of applicable procedures, safety regulations and the operation of the assigned equipment.
  • Good command of Dutch, both spoken and written. English and/or Polish is an advantage.
  • A valid category B driving licence is an advantage.
  • A willingness to further develop your skills through additional training and courses.
